Job Summary

The Senior Manager of Business Analytics is responsible for leading a team of professionals in the management of business operations. This role requires a deep understanding of business operations and the ability to integrate subject matter expertise within a defined area. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of standards and procedures that will be followed by others in the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise day-to-day operational activities in the unit, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including vendors and other external parties.
  • Monitor and ensure timely reimbursement of expenses and payment of vendor invoices in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of services provided.
  • Establish and maintain consistent and standardized operational processes.
  • Provide assistance and support to the Business Unit Head in accommodating requests related to the Business Unit.
  • Assist the Business Unit Head in identifying risks and opportunities related to Business Unit activities.
  • Complete and submit timely deliverables related to Business Unit Compliance/Risk and Control and/or Management Information Systems reports.
  • Provide data and insights to the Business Unit Head to support operational process improvements.
  • Perform periodic self-assessment testing to proactively manage risk and identify control gaps.
  • Lead local standardization efforts in accordance with regional Business Unit operations guidelines.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure operational controls and Manager's Control Assessment compliance.
  • Assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
Qualifications
  • 6-10 years of experience as a Business Manager.
  • Project administration and background in operational areas.
  • Experience managing limited resources to achieve outstanding results.
  • Experience in finance and processes administration.
  • Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, flexible, and innovative approach to operational management.
  • Passion, humility, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed.
  • Excellent influencing, facilitation, and partnering skills with key stakeholders and Senior Management.
  • Strategic and goal-oriented thinker.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including teamwork and organizational skills.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent public speaking skills.
  • Monitoring both scheduled and unscheduled reviews to completion.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
Education
  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.
