Broad knowledge and experience in: Understanding of Data Engineering/processing, Business Intelligence and Advanced analytics Developing ETL/ELT processes Knowledge in databases and Data warehouse modeling Knowledge in Cloud based data engineering Knowledge in building APIs for application integration Experience with various web-development languages, frameworks and processes Determine transformation requirements and develop processes to bring structured and unstructured data from the source to a new physical Data Model Work with Data Scientists to implement strategies for cleaning and preparing data for analysis, to develop data imputation algorithms, and optimize performance Background on SQL and databases Programming Skills in C#, HTML, CSS Data Analysis and Validation skills Above average skills in: Backend API: C# .NET 6.0 RESTful / Api Controllers Frontend UI: Angular v16 Authentication: Microsoft Entra SSO (Azure Active Directory AAD) Database: SQL Server (using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio or other IDE) Development Tools: VS Code Visual Studio Bitbucket for version control Swagger UI for API testing Other Technologies: HTML, CSS, TypeScript SharePoint Tableau, Power BI DAT MTDSM Snowflake Demonstrated ability to: Work in a dynamic, fast-paced, work environment Drive engagement with cross-functional partners, work to decompose requirements into technical execution plans with measurable milestones, effectively optimize scope and schedule, manage cross-functional dependencies, and proactively identify and manage risks. Craft clear communication of progress toward goals, reporting status to stakeholders and leadership as needed Provide domain expertise to form technical strategies with engineering partners Apply strong technical, organizational, and communication skills to devise sound technical approaches to abstract goals Identify the systems involved to build new solutions, align roadmaps, and weigh relative priorities Build strong relationships and rally the team with high emotional intelligence and exceptional listening skills Operate independently, challenge the status quo, and always play for the larger team Highly skilled, experienced, and enjoys orchestrating multiple programs with many moving parts and creating partnerships with cross-functional teams Able to identify gaps in solutions, debate technical approaches and weigh in on product vs. technology tradeoffs Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate business impact and technical constraints tailored to the audience As comfortable speaking technically as non-technically and able to bridge between the two Detail-oriented, can identify what’s missing in planning and execution of software development, testing, and launch Self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal direction To adapt to new technologies and learn quickly A passion for data and information with strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills Work in multi-functional groups, with diverse interests and requirements, to a common objective Communicate well across distributed teams and formats (written, verbal and presentation) "The specified role does not encompass the following responsibilities: Finalization of sales agreements or the execution of sales contracts is prohibited.
