We value the individual strengths of our employees, because these lead to the best team performance and thus to the success of our company.- Main Functions:- Financial Reporting- Support and validation of financial reporting tasks and month-end close activities associated with travel management, analytical review of financial information, and review of operation of relevant systems, transactions, processes, and controls to ensure the proper recording of and the accurate and timely filing of internal financial statements to Daimler.- General ledger accounting and financial analyses- Review of general ledger account reconciliations and financial analyses to ensure that financial transactions are recorded in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Coordinate and validate the Accenture support of travel management process to ensure accuracy and quality is maintained for travel expenses related transactions and balances.- Business Partnering- Provide advice and support regarding travel management process (CCC, gasoline and IAVE), propose the appropriate accounting treatment, resolve inconsistencies in accounting treatments and- Methods, Processes and Systems- Prepare documentation of new and/or existing processes and policies related to travel management.- Working with the business partners to identify process and/or system improvements, assist in the set-up of travel management systems (Concur / Axosnet, Banamex, Pase IAVE and Effecticard) and the accounting system maintenance involved.- Reporting/communication of financial results and coordination of financial (regulatory) filings- Review and follow up of the KPI reporting metrics prepare by- Accenture team and presented to management for travel expenses and other relevant metrics.- Provide support on issues and exceptions to accounting management and the external audit team Internal Control over Financial Reporting- Perform evaluation of Internal Controls over employee travel expenses and ensure that the necessary controls are documented and tested in accordance with the Company's internal requirements.- Cross-functional project work- Work cross functionally with business units to implement new business processes in own area of responsibility as a result of changes in business or accounting requirements.- Routinely monitor, track and report progress of implementation on difficult projects.- Stages of the process:- Publication of the vacancy: September 3rd- Filter interview: September 18th- Final Interview: September 23th- Selection Tools: Competency Based Interview, English test.- #Trucks- Work Location OpportunityDaimler Trucks AG is firmly committed to developing a work environment that supports empowerment and inclusion for our current and future employees.
