We are seeking a
Senior Accounting Analyst
to join our team in Mexico City. This role is key to ensuring the accurate and timely execution of accounting activities for our clients, while maintaining strong relationships and providing exceptional service. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic, international environment. They will be responsible for preparing financial statements, supporting audits, and collaborating closely with internal teams, contributing to a culture of excellence and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the proper execution of all A&T activities for TMF clients, ensuring that work is completed accurately and on time.
• Provide exceptional client service with decisiveness, firmness, and empathy.
• Adhere to the delivery guidelines established by the group to drive recurring activity.
• Verify the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of the accounting information received.
• Maintain the proper presentation and management of client-related documentation.
• Extract financial information from legal documents and process the relevant entries and postings. Draft key documents in accordance with legal requirements for sales, expenses, fixed assets, and inventory items, and review them with the Semi-Senior or Senior Accountant for validation and approval.
• Prepare monthly supporting analyses for all balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare the balance sheet and income statement, along with all accounting reports and documents required by the client.
• Meet each client's legal and corporate deadlines.
• Provide assistance and analyze information during legal or internal audits.
• Support the payment process, acting as the first review filter to confirm that the RDC process has been executed correctly and in accordance with payment instructions.
• Support the team's general administrative activities, including scanning, filing, and coordinating document signatures.
• Work closely with other teams within the TMF Group.

Key Requirements

• University degree in Accounting or Finance
• At least 4-6 years of accounting experience
• Excellent knowledge of local GAAP and tax compliance; knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS is a plus
• Demonstrable/visible experience in personnel management or leadership skills
• Analytical and structured mindset with the ability to follow and develop existing processes
• Proficiency in MS Office, along with experience with local accounting ERP systems
• Intermediate to advanced English (Essential)
• Strong teamwork skills
