As our Channels Development Manager, you'll be instrumental in grow sales by developing our sales channels in a healthy manner consistent with our values and philosophy.
What You Will Do
- Main tasks and responsibilities
- Grow the subsidiary's turnover in a healthy manner.
- Coordinate the sales team at the national level, facilitating communication and cross-functional collaboration with both the Company's teams and Distributors/customers.
- Establish plans, budgets, and performance metrics in order to meet the subsidiary's objectives.
- Develop sales strategies and business plans focused on achieving sales, collection, and profitability objectives:
- Review and propose modifications to the terms and conditions of sales for both channels.
- Establish and implement contractual terms.
- Project sales and revenue volumes, define an overall quota for the channels and, consequently, quotas for each SM, each salesperson, and each distributor.
- Set objectives and incentives for the sales teams.
- Maximize the efficiency of sales teams using the KPIs established by the company as tools.
- Prepare and manage your own and the team's visit plans for each channel and ensure proper follow-up.
- Train, educate, and motivate the sales teams of the subsidiary and distributors.
- Support customer sell-out (salons, distributors).
- Contribute to the acquisition of key accounts for both direct territories and distributor territories.
- Define and communicate the company's KPIs and objectives to the assigned Sales Managers team on a regular basis.
- Oversee financial sales targets, ensuring that margins and credits are fully aligned with objectives.
- Work closely with the Education and Marketing team to develop programs that facilitate the achievement of channel objectives.
- Coordinate product launch planning with the marketing, sales, and after-sales teams to ensure the success of all launches.
- Oversee the proper monitoring of each Distributor, helping them maintain healthy stock and finances.
- Clearly communicate the rights and limitations of each distributor based on company policies.
- Ensure proper monitoring of each distributor's annual agreements, including all annexes, and analyze the information with each SM in the quarterly report.
- Build relationships with customers, generating trust, loyalty, awareness, and mutual benefits.
- Provide strategic information about the market and competition and identify and execute plans that will enable the company to reach new market segments and expand its market share.
Who You Are
- Relevant work experience in the HC industry
- Academic background demonstrating excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing direct sales teams and distributors (guiding, teaching, and managing people)
- In-depth knowledge of sales organization
- Network with key accounts in Mexico City and throughout the country
- Leadership
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build relationships
- Planning and time management skills
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Willingness to travel within and outside of Mexico
