We're now looking for a
KYB Analyst
who's analytical, detail, oriented, and passionate about ensuring strong AML/CTF controls while enabling a smooth client onboarding experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive KYB reviews for new corporate clients, ensuring compliance with internal policies and AML/CTF regulations.
• Analyze ownership structures, UBOs, business activities, and geographic risk exposure.
• Perform sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screenings, documenting findings and mitigation actions.
• Monitor client activity to detect unusual or suspicious behaviors.
• Maintain accurate and auditable records, ensuring data integrity and traceability.
• Escalate red flags and support EDD or SAR/ROS processes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and automation of onboarding and monitoring workflows.

Requirements

• Must be currently based in Mexico (role is remote within the country).
• Bachelor's degree in Law (preferred), Finance, Business, Risk Management, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in KYB, AML, or financial due diligence, ideally in fintech, payments, or financial institutions.
• Strong knowledge of AML/CFT principles, CDD, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., LFPIORPI, BSA/Patriot Act, FATF).
• Familiarity with risk-based approaches and fintech onboarding.
• Excellent analytical and investigative skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in compliance tools and screening platforms.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
