Inbound/Outbound Area Manager, Worldwide Operations

As an IB/OB Area Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop your own team of Amazon Associates in a distribution warehouse environment. Your main focus will be motivating, mentoring, and coaching your team. As a servant leader, you will ensure that your team of Amazon Associates has all the tools needed to succeed in any task during a shift. Engaging with your team to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance performance, and engagement are core functions of the role. What is fulfillment? Fulfillment refers to completing a customer's order through picking, packing, shipping, and delivering their order to meet or exceed their expectations.

This position is not a corporate role and will be located in a Fulfillment Center

Key job responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of 50+ Amazon Associates
• Communicate policies to Associates and act as the primary information source for the team, maintaining compliance, consistency, and taking corrective action when needed
• Create, manage, and support recognition and communication programs
• Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all Associates
• Ensure procedures are followed for building security and product loss prevention
• Partner with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards
• Develop performance goals and objectives to achieve customer demand and ensure accuracy and quality

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
• 1+ years of employee and performance management experience
• Work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
• Experience in the management of large teams (50+ members)
• Spanish language proficiency.
• English language proficiency (Intermediate level, B1 or higher).

• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
• Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, and Excel
