Job DescriptionCd Juarez Chihuahua. Senior Engineer ManufacturingResponsible for performing high specialized professional tasks related to the analysis, design, validation,implementation and follow-up production process, methods and workloads, equipment operation standards andevery other regulation to produce efficiently and with quality. It includes systematical revision of information andoperative reports, looking for opportunity areas to increase productivity and quality and to reduce costsResponsibilities/ Skills. Coordinate Engineering Changes as dictated by customer or product requirements on existing program lines.

Lead cross functional teams as required to complete engineering changes, new program set ups, CoordinateEngineering Changes as dictated by customer or product requirements on existing program lines. Collaborate with Design groups to ensure feasibility of product and effective transition to manufacture. Develop and implement innovative process solutions and proposals for new products or processes. Analyze and determine equipment, facilities and support requirements for new equipment or processes.

Designs the complex layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency. Able to provide optimization of assembly lines using work flow analysis, time and motion study, ergonomicsand human factors analysis. Estimate packaging cost for new productsDevelop packaging for new products. Participation in initiatives focused on process improvement and cost reduction of existing lines.

Provide analysis of current processes using value stream mapping, data analysis, PFMEA, etc. Set production rates thru use of industrial engineering tools such as time studies and line balancing. Responsible for the control of ISO procedures as they relate to the Engineering Department. Responsible for control of plant assets in the financial area.

BS degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical or equivalent. For internal candidates, it is necessary to have at least 1 year of seniority.5-8 years' experience in a manufacturing environmentInternal collaborator: at least 1 year in current positionSkills/ Knowledge requirements:English > 85%.
