Production Control Specialist

Summary
The Production Control Specialist will support the transfer of products and processes from the U.S. to Nuevo Laredo, while managing production schedules to meet demand and ensure efficient operations. This role integrates planning with material availability, production capacity, and ERP systems to maintain workflow and delivery performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage monthly, weekly, and daily production schedules for production lines.
- Coordinate actions, administer resources, and lead group leader activities to meet weekly schedules with quality and efficiency.
- Lead production meetings for contract manufacturing operations across the company's various business segments.
- Collaborate in the planning of future weeks of production and ensure compliance with key metrics and deadlines.
- Establish control mechanisms for Work-In-Progress (WIP) to maintain visibility and control of production flow.
- Coordinate with purchasing, production, and warehouse teams to ensure material availability and support manufacturing delivery requirements.
- Monitor product specifications, quantities, and process outputs.
- Integrate capacity, lead times, and resources into the ERP system.
- Communicate effectively across departments and with suppliers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in planning or production scheduling.
- English proficiency (spoken and written).
- Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry tools.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, Lean Manufacturing, and/or Six Sigma.
