Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Soil Health Specialist based in Guadalajara, JAL. The Soil Health Specialist will assess soil conditions, recommend sustainable land management practices, and work to maintain or improve soil health. Responsibilities include conducting soil sampling and analysis, collaborating with farmers and stakeholders, and promoting sustainable agricultural practices tailored to local environmental conditions.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and deliver soil health recommendations.
  • Knowledge in Occupational Health and Medicine to ensure safe practices are followed during fieldwork and cultivation processes.
  • Experience in Health Promotion to advocate and educate others on sustainable soil practices and their benefits to agriculture and the environment.
  • Background in soil science or a related field is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team setting and independently.
  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, or a related discipline is preferred.
