The Opportunity:
As a Software Engineer, you'll be part of a global team enabling Global Manufacturing & Supply, Digital Innovation, and AI-driven initiatives. This is a hands-on role focused on building scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications using modern front-end technologies.
You'll work with frameworks such as
React, Angular, and
, contribute to UI architecture design, implement robust testing practices, and ensure seamless integration through CI/CD. Your work will directly support the creation of impactful digital solutions used across Takeda worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable front-end applications using
React:

- Implement responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces aligned with best UX/UI practices.
- Integrate front-end components with backend services using RESTful APIs and modern web standards.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and E2E testing frameworks.
- Contribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery of front-end applications.
- Apply web security best practices to protect data and ensure compliance across platforms.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and backend teams to refine features and deliver seamless user experiences.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes.
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and ensure applications run smoothly across browsers and devices.
What We're Looking For:
- 4+ years of experience:
in front-end software development. - Strong expertise in
