Job Description: AI Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Model Development: Spearhead the development of machine learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and sci-kit-learn.
• Data Management: Conduct data modeling, data visualization, and ensure data quality and integrity for AI projects.
• Automation and Testing: Design and execute test strategies for AI models, focusing on generative and conversational AI models. Automate testing processes using Python frameworks and integrate with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Framework Engineering: Engineer frameworks and scripts for API and web testing utilizing advanced tools such as Cypress and Playwright, ensuring scalability and reliability in testing environments.
• Deployment: Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes, resulting in accelerated time-to-market for AI solutions.
• Collaboration: Act as the main technical liaison between engineering teams and stakeholders to clarify technical requirements and resolve roadblocks.
• Optimization: Tune machine learning models through hyperparameter optimization and fine-tuning for specific tasks.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to validate and fine-tune AI models for production readiness.
• Global Coordination: Establish regular communication with global teams to align on priorities, share updates, and address critical issues.
• Training and Mentoring: Train and mentor local operators and technicians on best practices for using AI tools and frameworks.
• Progress Tracking: Track and report on the progress of AI project milestones.
• Quality Assurance: Work closely with the quality team to ensure AI models meet required specifications.
• Process Validation: Conduct process validation, including test runs and inspections, to verify conformance to quality standards.

Requirements:

• Education: Postgraduate Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in AI engineering, data science, or machine learning engineering.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, SQL, Pandas, NumPy, PowerBI, and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
• Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with diverse teams.
• Project Management: Proven track record of managing AI projects to completion.
• Attention to Detail: Organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages is highly desirable to facilitate coordination with global teams.
