Sr Inventory Analyst

A Day in the LifeNice to Have:

• Spare parts management and leadership in improvement projects related to storeroom with application of lean techniques & cost savings

• Experience in supply chain related with maintenance engineering for 3 or more years plus other technical experience

• Power Bi, SAP and other ERP and CMMS systems Knowledge is a plus

• Excellent team building, communications, presentation and leadership skills.

• Dynamic team player and can work effectively and proactively on a global team

• Good communicator and fluent in English and Spanish, both in writing and speaking.

• Travel 25% or more

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Supports Maintenance excellence transformation through different sites

• Creation and introduction of standard processes related to spare parts management for equipment and infrastructure.

• Provide education, training, guidance and coaching to assigned sites.

• Support sites in current state assessments and creation and execution of improvement action plans and KPI's for maintenance, repair and operation (MRO) of equipment

• Provide guidance in spare parts budget management, taxonomy, inventory levels and cycle counting.

• Guide transition and usage of CAMS/CMMS for best-in-class practices related to spare parts management

• Align and integrate MRO and spare parts management into equipment criticality assessment process and Redundancy Analysis to support programs and solutions for increasing up-time and equipment reliability.

• Provides technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations.

• Provide training on performing physical inventory counts and reconcile results with inventory records.

• Conducts analysis of inventory levels using data intelligence at site and enterprise level

• Support sites with stock outs issues and impact reduction

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Ensures that inventories are secure, properly identified and readily accessible to authorized personnel.
• Maintains controls over various types of inventories (e.g., raw materials, subassemblies, finished goods).
• Conducts physical inventory counts and reconciles results with inventory records.
• Ensures that quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments are correct .
• Conducts analyses of inventory levels and coordinates with production and sales requirements.

SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM: Typically an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing the projects – from design to implementation - while and adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education.

Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires advanced knowledge of job area combining breadth and depth, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
May have practical knowledge of project management.
Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
