Credit & Collections Analyst Jr

Job Title:Credit & Collections Analyst JrSummary:Credit & Collections Analyst Jr provides management and leadership of Mexico credit and collections function to achieve the best results and service levels in accordance with defined processes, policies and procedures.Responsibilities Include:

• Full communication with sales and customer service departments to coordinate collection, credit lines/days, and material deliveries.

• Develop relationships with sales, business finance, Commercial Services, and relevant others to ensure the highest level of service to Momentive customers.

• Develops and improves the quality and efficiency of the credit services provided to Momentive businesses.

• Defines strategies and procedures to ensure compliance.

• Ensures collection targets and past due percentages are consistently achieved.

• Operational credit responsibility for businesses as assigned.

• Prepares or oversees the preparation of the related reports, analysis, and key performance indicators.

• Elaborate and issue collections weekly reports.

• Identify and apply SAP collections from customers.

• Control and deliver all invoices and credit notes to customers, to ensure timely and proper collections.

• Elaborate internal reports to control those accounts that show an overdue balance and blocked material deliveries.

• Ensure the proper recording between SAP and the Electronic Invoice.

• Update and maintain the customer database on the system (SAP) and the electronic invoice (Digifact).

• Maintain full communication with customers to identify outstanding collections.

• Maintain internal controls on Accounts Receivable.

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; equivalent education and relevant experience will also be considered.

• 3+ years' experience in Credit & Collections or related field

• Ability to work effectively within a team environment

• Accountable for completing assigned tasks within established deadlines

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP or similar enterprise systems

• Ability to work effectively within a team environment

The following are preferred for this role

• Strong analytical skills and data expertise

• English communication skills (basic)
