Credit & Collections Analyst Jr

Summary:
Credit & Collections Analyst Jr provides management and leadership of Mexico credit and collections function to achieve the best results and service levels in accordance with defined processes, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities Include:
CREDIT & COLLECTIONS- Full communication with sales and customer service departments in order to coordinate collection, credit lines/days, material deliveries. Develops relationships with sales, business finance, Commercial Services and relevant others to ensure highest level of service to Momentive customers.- Develops and improves the quality and efficiency of the credit services provided to Momentive businesses.- Defines strategies and procedures to ensure compliance.- Ensures collections targets, past due percentages are consistently achieved.- Operational credit responsibility for businesses as assigned.- Prepares or oversees the preparation of the related reports, analysis and key performance indicators.- Calculate bad debt reserves according with global policy.- Prepare Cash Tracker, in accordance with the expected collections- Elaborate and issue collections weekly reports.-
- Control and deliver all invoices and credit notes to customers, to ensure timely and proper collections.- Elaborate internal reports to control those accounts that shows an overdue balance and blocked material deliveries.- Ensure the proper recording between SAP and Electronic Invoice.- Update and maintain customer’s database on the system (SAP) and electronic invoice (Digifact).- Full communication with bank executives and customers to identify collections.- Maintain internal controls on Accounts Receivable.- Calculation and accruals of Rebates for companies 1250, 1001, 1008 and 2000.

ACCOUNTING AND TAXES- Preparation and deliver on time, monthly reports to tax consultants for tax purposes (collections, sales, credit notes, etc.).

Qualifications:
The following are _required _for the role- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field- 3+ years‘ experience in Credit & Collections or related field

The following preferred for this role- Analytical and Data cabable- Highly organized- Responsible with tasks assigned and deadlines- Good Skills with Microsoft Office and SAP.- Team worker.- Well-written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.
