Looking for your next big challenge? Ingredion is hiring a Corporate Counsel to help drive innovation and integrity across our global operations
As a
Corporate Counsel
you will support the company's operations in Mexico and Latin America, providing strategic legal advice on corporate, commercial, regulatory, and compliance matters. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in corporate law, contract negotiation, and risk management, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal support on corporate governance, entity management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including NDAs, supply agreements, service contracts, and licensing agreements.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks and mitigation strategies related to business operations.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international laws, including anti-corruption, data privacy, and labor regulations.
  • Collaborate with external counsel as needed and manage legal budgets effectively.
  • Conduct legal training and awareness sessions for internal teams.

Your Profile Needs These Qualifications

  • Law degree from a recognized university; admission to practice law in Mexico required.
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate law, preferably in a multinational company or top-tier law firm.
  • Strong knowledge of Mexican corporate and commercial law; familiarity with international legal frameworks is a plus.
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills in both English and Spanish.
  • High ethical standards, discretion, and sound judgment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • English advanced
