Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Mexico. Our client is a biopharmaceutical company.

Project: Optimization of security rules and policies in Firewalls.

You'll support the Architecture, Solution Design, and Network Projects Team within the security solutions area by analyzing, adjusting, and, where appropriate, modifying the security rules applied to the company network infrastructure to meet company and IT industry standards. It involves influencing and establishing strong working relationships with internal partners and peers in multiple geographies to analyze the design, development, implementation, and testing of proposed solutions in production environments.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 10+ years of experience with Cisco security products.
• Experience with Cisco StealthWatch and NetFlow.
• Advanced/expert knowledge of security products such as Cisco FTD, FMC, Zone-Based Firewalls, Palo Alto, and Zscaler.
• Knowledge of the CCNA/CCNP level in security.
• Strong knowledge of network security technologies and/or industry professional accreditations (CCNA/CCNP equivalent).
• Understanding of integration techniques and configuration of physical, virtual, and/or cloud-based security equipment (firewalls).
• Extensive experience in industry best practices to repair or improve the design of a segregated network in production.
• Experience in the design and implementation of network security rules.
• Handling of security tools for rule analysis (e.g., Tufin).
• Familiarity with security policy management, as well as optimization, analysis, and IT industry-standard methodologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop a model to improve and optimize security rules for the network infrastructure of the manufacturing sites.
• Drive continuous improvement and high-quality documentation for network security designs.
• Work regularly with service providers using different products that support the network strategy and maintain industry best practices.
• Ensure that the technical solutions provided and supported align with internal customer demand.
