JOB DESCRIPTION
The sales agent Baja Expeditions is looking for must be able to encompass a wide, yet specific, array of duties, with the purpose of increasing the company's sales and creating a stronger client portfolio. The sales position in Mexico must Work together with the Canadian sales team following the established sales plan to provide the best service to customers. They will be in charge of the communication with the clients and visitors in La Paz, Baja California. Must be able to find solutions for every customer in order to boost revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.
Digital platforms have become a great tool for getting in touch with clients and promoting new products so we find it necessary to have a good understanding and management of them. Having a good attitude, being responsible and respectful is crucial since they will be the clients first contact with the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
● Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
● Conducting negotiations for sales contracts.
● Create reports on sales, customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
● Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
● Identify and respond to client needs.
● Keep a high level of knowledge about existing products and services, and learn about new products and services as they come in.
● Talk with customers to determine their specific needs and wants, making suggestions as appropriate.
● Contact potential customers through phone calls and emails.
● Create and maintain a database of prospective clients.
● Offer new products to our client portfolio.
● Explaining the benefits of the services to new customers.
● Assisting customers with complaints or inquiries related to products, services, or purchases.
● Answering calls and Emails from customers.
● Host people who arrive at the facilities and make sure they are comfortable by providing a friendly service.
● Conducting post-sale follow ups in order to know where to improve.
REQUIREMENTS
● High school degree or equivalent.
● Confident and charismatic approach to people.
● Excellent oral and written communication skills.
● Ability to take initiative and work independently.
● Good familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet and database application.
● Adaptive personality with the ability to learn and apply new sales strategies quickly.
● Strong organizational, operational, and planning skills in a customer service and sales focused environment.
EXPERIENCE:
● 1+ years of experience as a sales agent.
● 1+ years of experience in the industry.
