Supply Chain Planner – Key Responsibilities
 

Responsible for planning and supply availability, inventory management, and supply chain implementation and analysis.

  • Manages inventory and order fulfillment rates using system-based tools and regular interaction with production sites, operations, business managers, and logistics.

  • Works closely with plants and external partners to understand capacity by location, production line, and output variations for production planning.

  • Optimizes product availability planning through the SAP planning system.

  • Collaborates extensively with Marketing, Sales, and Demand Planning within the S&OP process.

  • Partners with Customer Service and production facilities to develop a dynamic supply chain while minimizing costs and complexity.

  • Accountable for achieving inventory targets.

  • Coordinates with transportation, plant production planning, contract manufacturers, and warehouse staff to ensure demand is met.

  • Analyzes forecasts, inventory, service levels, and processes to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

  • Identifies, communicates, and resolves supply issues.

  • Plans and shares responsibility for the inventory of materials involved in C&D products along with co-manufacturers and co-packers.
