Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data governance processes to support the execution of data governance frameworks, policies and standards
• Coordinate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure alignment, engagement, and expectation management across data governance initiatives.
• Facilitate working group sessions and stakeholder meetings to communicate updates, gather feedback, and drive consensus on data governance policies and standards.
• Identify and escalate data inconsistencies, exceptions, or policy gaps, and collaborate with leadership and technical teams to resolve them.
• Contribute to governance-related projects by coordinating across business and technical teams, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
• Monitor regulatory and policy changes to help ensure governance practices remain current and compliant.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve data governance processes and enhance the stakeholder experience through automation, simplification, or education.

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related discipline.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university is preferred in Information Management, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
• A proactive mindset with continuous improvement orientation.
• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail with the ability to lead workstreams independently, collaborate in a team setting and manage competing priorities
• Strong communication and facilitation skills, with experience engaging cross-functional stakeholders to lead meetings with small and large audiences and promote data governance best practices
• Strong problem solving, analytical and independent judgment skills to support an environment driven by strategic priorities and stakeholder requests
• Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Informatica) and familiarity with data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK), data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and enterprise data management practices is a plus.
