Responsibilities
Data Collection and Cleaning:
Assist in collecting data from various sources, including databases, web scraping, and public datasets.Clean and preprocess data to ensure quality and usability for analysis.Data Analysis:
Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and insights.Apply basic statistical methods to analyze data and generate preliminary reports.Model Building:
Support the development of machine learning models to solve business problems.Assist in evaluating model performance and making improvements.Feature Engineering and Deployment:
Contribute to feature identification and testing, implementing feedback loops to refine models.Assist in preparing models for deployment, working closely with production operations to monitor performance.Data Visualization:

Qualifications
Education:

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.Understanding of statistical methods and their applications.Communication Skills:
Ability to communicate complex data findings in a clear and concise manner.Good written and verbal communication skills.Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal).Soft Skills:
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Curiosity and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.Minimum Experience:
1-2 years of experience in data science or related fields, with internships or academic projects considered.Preferred Qualifications:
Internship or project experience in data science or related fields.Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark is a plus.Familiarity with version control systems like Git.Familiarity with JIRA or other product management tools is a plus.Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
