Salary: $1,000 - $1,200 USD (monthly)

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Property & Owner Onboarding: Support the onboarding of new properties and owners by assisting with property setup, documentation, management agreements, service selections, utilities, and document organization. This may include helping ensure required information is collected, entered into systems, and properly stored.
  • Compliance & Licensing: Assist with tracking rental licenses, renewals, lead certificates, and jurisdiction-specific compliance requirements. Support the organization of compliance documentation and help flag upcoming deadlines or missing items for review.
  • Leasing & Marketing Support: Provide support for leasing activities such as coordinating listings, assisting with showings, tracking leads, supporting application processing and screening coordination, and helping with lease execution, renewals, and rent increase requests when applicable.
  • Resident Onboarding & Move-Ins: Assist with applicant-to-tenant transitions by supporting lease setup, charges, inspections, utilities, keys, and onboarding materials. Help ensure move-in steps are completed smoothly and communicated clearly to residents.
  • Day-to-Day Operations: Support daily operational tasks including utility tracking, inventory updates, system maintenance, and general administrative coordination. Assist with keeping records organized and systems up to date.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Support maintenance-related activities by assisting with communication between residents, owners, and vendors, helping schedule services, tracking work orders and invoices, and supporting timely close-out of maintenance items.
  • Inspections: Assist with inspection coordination by supporting scheduling, reminders, documentation, photo records, and follow-up actions related to inspection findings.
  • Collections & Evictions Support: Provide support for delinquency communications, notices, and eviction-related coordination, including documentation and follow-up, as directed by leadership or legal partners.
  • Owner Payments & Reporting: Assist with the coordination of management fee processing, owner payments, and the preparation and distribution of monthly and year-end owner statements.
  • Move-Outs & Unit Turns: Support lease terminations and unit transitions by assisting with final inspections, key returns, security deposit processing, vendor coordination, and preparation of units for relisting.
  • General Responsibilities: The Property Manager is expected to collaborate with team members, follow established procedures, communicate professionally, escalate issues when appropriate, and support operational needs as assigned.

Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent phone handling and active listening abilities.
  • Ability to handle different personalities with patience and professionalism.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency in Buildium, and/or AppFolio (or similar property management software).
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of property management or maintenance coordination experience required.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) required.
  • High-speed wired internet connection (200 mbps min.)
  • Windows 10/11 or Mac (4 GB RAM, Intel i5 or similar)

Physical Setting: Remote

Schedule: Monday to Friday: 9 am to 6 pm EST (1hr lunch)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17, $20,960.00 per month
