Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Propósito del puesto

Responsable de coordinar al equipo de entrenadores para que sea impartido a personal de nuevo ingreso o nuevo en su puesto, sesiones de entrenamiento de acuerdo con la necesidad de producción, así como mantener actualizados los registros de Entrenamiento en TRESS y la evidencia digital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dar curso de inducción a personal de nuevo ingreso incluyendo el tour por el área de producción.
  • Actualización de documentación de entrenamiento y carga en Windchill.
  • Entrega de lista del personal de nuevo ingreso que recibirá cada entrenador.
  • Seguimiento al plan semanal de entrenamientos y certificaciones con cada entrenador.
  • Asegurar entrenamiento a entrenadores de todos los turnos sobre documentación nueva o nuevas revisiones.
  • Asegurar entrenamiento a operadores y recabar listas de asistencia.
  • Impresión de exámenes para certificación de acuerdo con el plan con el entrenador.
  • Agendar y aplicar exámenes de cambio de grado, cuando el Supervisor de Entrenamiento se lo indique.
  • Escanear y guardar listas de asistencia de entrenamientos en digital.
  • Cargar entrenamientos del personal en TRESS.
  • Escanear y guardar exámenes de certificación en digital.
  • Cargar certificaciones en TRESS
  • Cargar certificaciones en Casmtar.
  • Inventario y control de EPP para nuevos ingresos.
  • Inventario y control de souvenirs.
  • Seguimiento a certificaciones pendientes por vencer y notificar a entrenador en turno para que re-certifique si aplica.
  • Presencia esporádica en todos los turnos para asegurar monitoreo de entrenadores.
  • Presentar ideas de mejora de procesos de entrenamiento.
  • Dar soporte si el Líder o Supervisor de Producción pide asesoría sobre el acomodo de personal de acuerdo con su certificación o proceso de entrenamiento.
  • Elaboración de procedimientos, manuales, ayudas visuales y otra documentación le fuera requerida para capacitación del personal.
  • Atender otras tareas que el Supervisor de Entrenamiento o Gerente de Producción le solicite.
Requisitos
  • Licenciatura.
  • Experiencia de 5 años en manufactura.
  • Experiencia previa como instructor o entrenador operativo de al menos 3 años.
