About The Team
Zillow Group, Inc. is reimagining real estate to make it easier to unlock life's next chapter. As the most visited real estate website in the United States, Zillow and its affiliates help high-intent movers find and win their home through digital solutions, first-class partners, and easier buying, selling, financing, and renting experiences. The Strategic Finance team is at the forefront of Zillow Group's strategy, planning, and key initiatives, collaborating across the organization on strategic thought leadership spanning some of the company's most visible projects.
About The Role
Zillow Group is seeking a strategic and analytical Senior Financial Analyst to join our high-impact Strategic Finance team. In this pivotal role, you'll serve as a key business partner to senior leaders—driving planning, forecasting, and analysis for Spruce, Zillow's innovative, digitally integrated title and escrow business. Your work will shape critical decisions, support product go-to-market success, and directly influence Zillow's growth strategy across the real estate transaction ecosystem.
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. "Remote" employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.
In addition to a competitive base salary and benefits, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.
Who you are
- You have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- You bring 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably supporting high-growth product, GTM, or operations teams in tech or financial services.
- You're fluent in Excel or Google Sheets, and love building and iterating on complex financial models.
- You know your way around Tableau or other visualization tools and can turn data into stories that drive decisions.
- You're a clear communicator and trusted partner, able to break down complex financial concepts for cross-functional teams and senior leaders.
- You notice the details others miss and love asking smart questions that move strategy forward.
- You thrive in environments where things move fast, ambiguity is a given, and curiosity leads the way.
- Experience with public company processes or reporting rhythms is a plus.
You will get to:
- Partner closely with Spruce Product and Business leaders to shape the go-to-market (GTM) strategy within Zillow's integrated transaction experience.
- Lead end-to-end financial forecasting and planning for Spruce—including state-level revenue, pricing strategy, and unit economics modeling.
- Build scalable reporting tools and dashboards that track performance against plan and surface actionable insights.
- Deliver clear, compelling financial recommendations to executive stakeholders to guide strategic decision-making.
- Support financial planning across Zillow's marketplace services, balancing mature business operations and early-stage initiatives.
- Drive long-range planning processes tied to strategic growth, resource allocation, and new investment opportunities.
- Continuously improve financial systems and planning processes to enhance forecast accuracy, visibility, and scalability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, product, and strategy teams to ensure alignment across key objectives.
