Bookkeeper / Accounting Clerk (Fully Remote)
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Pay: US$7.00 per hour
Work Location: Fully Remote
Eligible Locations: Latin America
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accounting Clerk to join our remote accounting team. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on bookkeeping experience, strong English communication skills, and solid technical knowledge of accounting software and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping using QuickBooks
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Process invoices, payments, and expense tracking
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Maintain general ledger entries and accurate financial records
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare basic financial reports and data summaries
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data
- Maintain organized digital accounting files and documentation
- Support audits and internal financial reviews
Requirements
- Advanced English speaking and written communication skills
- Proven experience using QuickBooks
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
- Reliable internet connection and ability to work EST hours
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and Macros
- Experience with additional accounting or ERP platforms
- Prior experience working with U.S.-based companies
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
