About The Role
We're looking for a dynamic S&P Associate to join our Mexico Rides Strategy & Planning team As part of the Uber Mexico Mobility S&P team, you'll get to design the future, while making sure we are running the best possible business today.

You will do this by partnering with business leaders to provide strategic, operational, and analytical support. We're looking for someone who can set a vision and solve problems from 30,000 feet as well as dive deep into the details. Working across different functions and topics will mean you will have considerable visibility of business operations and opportunities to drive meaningful business outcomes.

As a member of the team, you will also get to sit across and lead a variety of complex and high-impact projects. What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track key business KPIs, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Develop, test, and maintain machine learning models (e.g., regression models) to estimate Full Potential and share of wallet.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Sales Operations, Business Operations) to translate business questions into analytical projects.
  • Automate data pipelines and reporting workflows to improve efficiency and scalability using SQL, Python, and cloud tools.
  • Analyze trends, identify growth opportunities, and present actionable insights to stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.

What You'll Need

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role (e.g. BI Analyst, Strategy & Planning Associate or Operations Manager supporting analytical projects).
  • Strong proficiency in SQL with hands-on experience in data manipulation, KPI tracking, and building scalable data workflows.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain dashboards and reports to support cross-functional stakeholders with clear, actionable insights through Tableau or Looker.
  • Ability to translate complex analytical findings into strategic business recommendations, especially in sales performance and market share contexts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience deploying and operationalizing ML models, including model monitoring, performance tuning, and integration into business workflows.
  • Advanced statistical knowledge with expertise in techniques like multivariate regression, time series analysis, and A/B testing to drive data-backed strategy.
  • Familiarity with Python for data cleaning, light automation, or improving analytical workflows.
