Position: Data Analyst
Location:
Polanco, Mexico City (Hybrid – 2 days/week)
Salary:
MXN 30,000–70,000/month
Type:
Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Support system configuration and validate data for indirect tax rules.
- Test financial reporting tools; identify bugs and suggest improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams on system testing, data sharing, and tax reporting.
- Help automate processes to improve tax reporting and system monitoring.
- Analyze data across business lines such as Mobility and Delivery.
- Build and test SQL reports to meet country-specific tax and data requirements.
- Generate reports and perform statistical analysis using Python and SQL to support decision-making.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in industry or practice.
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, Accounting, Math, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on coding experience in Python and SQL.
- Solid understanding of relational databases.
- Advanced Excel and MS Office skills.
- Experience handling large datasets and performing complex analysis.
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive problem solver.
- Comfortable working on technical challenges with cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working in a finance or tax-focused organization.
- Experience developing analytics tools, dashboards, or automation scripts.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts.
- Multilingual skills.
