Due to our international growth, we are looking for talented: Failure Analysis Engineer Full-time, On Site: El Salto, Jalisco.
Areas of Responsibility: Perform sample preparation and initial assessment of defective, electronic, electrical, and mechanical parts.
Write reports to summarize findings using current records required by CSG and/or QMS.
Implement and Maintain laboratory and related equipment.
Implement, maintain, and improve failure analysis and repair tooling used in lab and production floor.
Route issues for further analysis to CSG Team in China if required.
Coordinate Failure Analysis Technicians.
Develop training plans and execute internal training for Failure Analysis Technicians and Repair personnel.
Minimal travel may be required to meet the needs of the business.
(Initial travel required for China.)
Additional duties as assigned by management.
Be part of QMS internal Auditors.
Education/Experience Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering Technologies or similar Engineering is preferred.
+3 years of related experience is required.
Experience in Electronic Manufacturing Industry is must.
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
The right candidate will also be asked to go to China for training for the first few months.
