Flutter Developer (Remote, Freelance)

  • $25 USD per hour
  • Equivalent to $1,000 USD per week (40 hours)
  • Payment based on hours worked

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Flutter Developer to join a remote, international team working on a long-term digital product with real-world impact. This is a freelance, fully remote position focused on frontend development using Flutter for Web, iOS, and Android.

You will collaborate with an agile team to build high-quality user interfaces, integrate REST APIs, and contribute to a scalable and secure application architecture.

This is a long-term opportunity for an individual contributor. Agencies will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain frontend features using Flutter and Dart.
  • Build responsive user interfaces for web and mobile platforms.
  • Integrate frontend components with RESTful APIs.
  • Collaborate with backend developers and designers in an agile environment.
  • Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and technical discussions.
  • Ensure application security, performance, and code quality.
  • Communicate progress clearly through task boards and team channels.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Advanced English (written and spoken).
  • Proven experience as a Flutter Developer or Frontend Developer.
  • Strong knowledge of Dart and Flutter (Web, iOS, Android).
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs and web services.
  • Strong awareness of web application security best practices.
  • Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • Interest in software architecture, agile methodologies, and clean code.
  • Strong communication skills and reliability in remote work environments.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week.
  • Willingness to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with Python-based backends.
  • Previous experience in long-term remote or distributed teams.
  • Interest in open-source projects or collaborative development cultures.
