You will own the developer experience (DevEx), managing the complex machinery that compiles, signs, and delivers our apps. You are the master of Tuist and the guardian of the build system.

What You'll Do

  • Project Generation: Own the Tuist configuration, defining project manifests to generate consistent Xcode projects across the organization.
  • Build Optimization: Analyze build logs to identify bottlenecks; implement caching strategies (remote cache, Bazel-like techniques) to drastically reduce build times.
  • Scripting: Write and maintain advanced scripts (Swift, Ruby, Python) to automate provisioning profile management, certificate signing, and versioning.
  • CI Infrastructure: Manage the fleet of CI build machines (Mac Minis/Cloud Mac), ensuring high availability and optimal configuration.
  • Dependency Management: Govern the ingestion of 3rd party libraries via SPM, ensuring security compliance and version compatibility.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience: 7+ years in Release Engineering, DevOps, or Mobile Engineering.
  • Tooling: Expert-level knowledge of Tuist, Xcodebuild, and Swift Package Manager.
  • Scripting: Proficient in scripting languages (Bash, Ruby, or Python) for automation.
  • CI/CD: Deep experience with CI platforms (Bitrise, CircleCI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions).
  • Problem Solving: A obsession with efficiency and a "hacker" mindset toward solving productivity blockers
