About the Role

As Manager, Finance & Operations, you can play a key role in guiding the continued growth of our high-tech seed production operations in Mexico. You will lead and oversee the strategic and operational management of our Mexican subsidiary in close partnership with the Manager of Seed Production. Together, you will be responsible for the overall success and sustainable growth of the business, ensuring alignment with Rijk Zwaan's global standards and long-term vision. The scope of this role will include:

  • Driving operational excellence through effective management of finance, HR, IT, legal, and facility functions.
  • Implementing and optimizing processes, protocols, and internal controls.
  • Providing financial insights and business analyses to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Leading HR initiatives, including talent acquisition, team development, and performance management.
  • Supporting the development and execution of strategic plans, audits, and investment projects.

This is a highly visible leadership role requiring strong business acumen, people management capability, and a collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset.

This position is based on site in San José de Iturbide, Guanajuato, and will work closely with both local and international colleagues and stakeholders.

Who We're Looking For:

We are seeking an inspiring professional with a solid track record in financial and operational management within an international or agricultural environment.

  • A Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive, successfull experience in finance and operations management in a multinational setting.
  • A strong affinity with agriculture or seed production.
  • Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
  • A hands-on, analytical, and people-oriented leadership style.
  • Professional fluency in English (spoken and written).
  • Values and mindset that strongly align with developing people and teams and driving performance through long term commitments to excellence.
