Responsibilities
Walter P Moore in Mexico City is looking for a Full Time Specialty Structures Engineer with 4+ years of experience in engineering enclosure systems, light-weight, long-span, complex and specialty structures.
Work with a team of engineers and designers to design primary and secondary cladding solutions.Interface with Structural Engineering and Enclosure Engineering practices.Interface with both Clients and Contractors.Lead project development.Performing structural computations in the design and analysis of steel, aluminum, glass, cladding panels, or other miscellaneous enclosure components. Creating analysis models and interpreting results for Technical Designers and Clients. Assisting with construction administration tasks, including site visits and shop drawing review.Assisting with design drawings, quantities, specifications, reports and other project deliverables.Preparing technical studies and reports.Qualified candidates should also possess a high energy level and be a self-motivated professional who can work within a strong team environment, serving clients on major projects throughout the United States and internationally. Technical specialization and leadership when meeting clients and for project needs, are pluses.
Qualifications
4-8 years of experience in cladding design and/or specialty structures engineering. Professional Engineer (PE)S.E. in Structural EngineeringExperience with Structural Analysis Software (SAP, Strand 7, GSA, Mepla, or similar)Working knowledge of Modelling Software (Grasshopper, Rhino, Revit, Dynamo, Tekla)Long Span Structures and membranes engineering experience are preferredMust be bi-lingual (English & Spanish)Demonstrated strength in providing excellent customer service.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong organizational skills
