Information Technology Business Analyst

Job summary:

This position works using technology to streamline and improve business processes; Provide SAP and business process knowledge for the analysis and design of global solutions for the business on supply chain areas mainly on quality; Follow up and take proper actions to provide IT support to issues resolution following the Standard Operating Procedure in Global Information Technology (GIT).

Main Responsibilities:

• Configure and support SAP QM projects and its integration with other SAP modules.
• Involved in conducting business process requirement gathering workshops, business blueprinting and process design, system configuration, cross-functional integration, core team training preparation and training delivery, cut-over planning and its execution, and providing hypercare support after go-live
• Works on project implementations as project manager or as a resource to make sure all phases are delivered.
• Support global quality strategy and business processes.
• Understands and applies Information Technology standards to daily support and project implementation activities.
• Apply conceptual knowledge of business processes and technology to solve complex business processes and
• procedural problems.
• Identify and assess new technologies and concepts that can add value to the business
• Manage and/or perform the design, testing and applications of SAP systems configuration in line with agreed timeframes, business requirements and global standards.
• Maintain Production Systems reliability through correct utilization of GIT standard support and Governance processes
• Support day to day business requirements according to Global SLA.
• Deliver solutions to solve business requirements considering priorities and resources available.
• Partner with internal Information Technology Organizations such as Global Development, Risk Management and the Global Shared Service Organization and other cross-functional business units as necessary.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with GIT Peers, Business partners, customers and external resources to deliver business requirements
• Lead and coordinate implementation of small to medium size projects across the division.
• Participate and contribute in special projects or initiatives such as institutional programs, committees and others.
• Collaborate with other GIT and external partners to deliver business requirements.
• Understand and apply GIT 5 Steps Methodology to build plans and implement Projects.
• Coordinate activities of internal and/or external resources according to project needs.

EDUCATION & Knowledge:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
• SAP QM & LO-BM Knowledge.
• Desired formation on project management.
• Desirable SAP Functional knowledge on Supply Chain Modules: PP, MM, LE, WM,EWM.
• Implementation Methodologies like Agile, ASAP, Scrum, Product, etc.
• Desire to learn and develop a career on supply chain area with focus on Quality.
• Desirable basic knowledge in Ladvantage LIMS, ETQ Reliance QMS, SAP ABAP.

EXPERIENCE:

• SAP QM functional or SAP Supply Chain Modules analyst / Consultant with 3-5 years of experience in configuration and implementation with willingness to become an IT QM expert.
• Proven experience with full lifecycle project implementations on all stages of project (Requirement Gathering and Analysis, Project preparation, Business Blueprint Mapping, Gap analysis to customization, Realization, Final preparation, Go-live and post Go-live support)
• Proven experience on integration on SAP QM module with MM (Materials Management), PP (Production Planning), SD (Sales and Distribution), and PM (Plant Maintenance) to ensure quality is managed across the entire business process.
• Desirable proven track record of performance with at least 3-5 years in an IT role on supply chain companies.
• Interest to develop knowledge in the functional processes of SAP Supply Chain modules such as QM, LO-BM, MM, PP, and third party solutions like ETQ QMS and LIMS.
• Strong desire to expand knowledge of SAP applications on a functional / technical level.
