As Embedded Software Engineer in Capgemini you will design, develop, and deliver high-quality embedded software solutions for automotive Electronic Control Units (ECUs), applying Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) best practices across the full software development lifecycle, for an automotive project in Querétaro.
Your Role- Develop and integrate embedded software components in C/C++ for automotive ECUs and advanced systems (ADAS, Park Assist, Instrument Clusters, Vision Systems).
- Analyze software requirements and define architecture and design in compliance with ASPICE standards.
- Perform bench, integration, and system testing; support unit and module-level validation activities.
- Diagnose and resolve software issues in development, production, and customer environments.
- Collaborate closely with customers and global teams to ensure technical alignment, quality, and on-time delivery.
- Solid experience in embedded software development using C or C++, preferably in automotive environments.
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR (BSW and application layer) and automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS).
- Hands-on experience with GIT and requirements management tools such as IBM Rational DOORS.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in cross-functional settings.
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- You should be living in Querétaro or willing to relocate: this is an on-site position on a hybrid scheme.
Nice to have: Experience with AUTOSAR configuration tools (EB Tresos, Vector DaVinci), Embedded Linux/Yocto, QNX, or Hypervisor environments.
