Your Role in VT Markets

We are seeking a
Market Analyst
to join our dynamic team in Mexico City. The ideal candidate is analytical, data-driven, and passionate about financial markets. You will play a key role in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting market data to support business decisions, optimize marketing strategies, and enhance trading insights.This role requires strong analytical capabilities, an understanding of financial instruments, and proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools.

Please note: This is the on-site role for Mexico City.

What Makes You a Great Fit

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in
  Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science
  , or a related field.
• Minimum
  6 years of experience
  as a Market Analyst, Data Analyst, or Quantitative Analyst in a financial or trading environment.
• Strong understanding of
  financial markets, trading products, and brokerage operations
  .
• Experience with
  algorithmic trading
  ,
  cryptocurrency
  , or
  blockchain
  industries is an advantage.

Technical & Functional Skills:

• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation.
• Advanced use of Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio for visualization and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
• Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, or Braze.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel,PowerPoint, Word).
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques and statistical modeling is a plus.

• Natural curiosity to explore and interpret data trends and patterns.
• Ability to simplify complex technical findings into clear communication.
• Strong eye for detail and precision.

• Proficient presentation skills.
• Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Spanish is required for effective communication with internal stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include

• Work across all aspects of data from engineering to building sophisticated visualizations, machine learning models, and experiments.
• Analyze and interpret large (PB-scale) volumes of transactional, operational, and customer data using proprietary and open-source data tools, platforms, and analytical toolkits.
• Translate complex findings into simple visualizations and recommendations for execution by operational teams and executives.
• Be part of a fast-paced industry and organization where time to market is critical.
• Ability to integrate CRM platforms with internal data visualization platforms and customer data platforms (CDPs).
• Aid conversion tracking and reporting through Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
• Provide predictive and preemptive data for business decisions.
• Collaborate with business development teams to underst and business needs and identify opportunities through data.
• Present technical results to non-technical audiences.
