The Accounting Manager oversees the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and efficient management of accounting staff. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity of financial data and supporting strategic decision-making within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and lead the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal accounting regulations and tax filings.Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.Collaborate with auditors during financial and compliance audits.Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management.Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities.Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory roleStrong knowledge financial reporting standards.Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Strong leadership and communication abilities.Desired Skills
High attention to detail and accuracy.Strong interpersonal skills for cross-department collaboration.Experience with ERP systems and financial modeling.-
