What You'll Do

  • Underwrite real estate investment opportunities, evaluating financials and identifying risks with precision.
  • Analyze asset performance, reviewing monthly income and expenses to spot trends and areas for improvement.
  • Build and refine financial models in Excel, adapting to the evolving needs of the business.
  • Translate data into meaningful insights, responding to verbal requests without needing formal reports.
  • Think critically and innovate, suggesting better ways to structure and present financial data.
  • Collaborate with leadership, supporting real estate acquisitions and asset management strategies.
  • Solve problems proactively, anticipating potential challenges and offering strategic solutions.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in real estate finance, underwriting, or asset management.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to build dynamic financial models and reports.
  • Strong analytical mindset, able to break down complex financial data into clear insights.
  • Attention to detail, with a deep understanding of financial structures and investment strategies.
  • Self-motivated and independent, capable of managing tasks without constant supervision.
  • Experience in real estate investment, asset management, or accounting within a real estate team.
  • Familiarity with financial and real estate software tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to execute tasks based on verbal instructions.
  • A strategic thinker, resourceful and adaptable, always looking for ways to enhance processes.
