The Standard is looking for a dynamic leader to become the IT Manager at The Standard, Mexico City, which is scheduled to open in the summer of 2026 in the Tabacalera neighborhood. With 206 rooms and 27 branded residences, this new opening marks our first hotel in Latin America—with a rooftop pool, multiple bar and restaurant concepts, world-class spa, meeting spaces, and more.

The IT Manager must ensure that IT processes are carried out optimally. Provide quality service to internal and external candidates. Guarantee a work environment aligned with our higher purpose and ensure that the standards established by Hyatt International are applied in all processes. The IT Manager will be responsible for managing all technology within our hotel, ensuring that all areas of the hotel are supported with appropriate IT systems in accordance with the hotel brand and company standards.

Con 206 habitaciones y 27 residencias de marca, esta nueva inauguración marca nuestro primer hotel en América Latina—con piscina en la azotea, múltiples conceptos de bar y restaurante, spa de clase mundial, espacios para reuniones y más.

El Gerente de IT deberá asegurar que los procesos de IT se lleven a cabo de manera óptima. Brindar atención de calidad a los candidatos internos y externos. Garantizar un ambiente de trabajo alineado con nuestro propósito superior y asegurar que se aplican las normas establecidas por Hyatt International en todos los procesos

El Gerente de IT será responsable de administrar toda la tecnología dentro de nuestro hotel, garantizar que todas las áreas del hotel estén respaldadas con sistemas informáticos adecuados de acuerdo con los estándares de la marca del hotel y la empresa.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Information Technology Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the Systems or Information Technology department in lifestyle hotels
  • Previous experience in pre-openings or openings of lifestyle hotels
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Ingeniería en sistemas computacionales, Administración de Tecnologías de la Información o carrera afín
  • Experiencia mínima de 4 años en el departamento de Sistemas o Tecnologías de la Información en hotelería lifestyle
  • Experiencia previa en pre-aperturas o aperturas de hoteles lifestyle
  • Excelentes habilidades de liderazgo
  • Bilingüe en español e inglés
