  1. Actively promote excellent customer service through example, training, and ensuring that commitments to customers are met, including delivery promises, special instructions, and product specifications.

  2. Achieve monthly, weekly, and daily production targets.

  3. Responsible for production planning and meeting production targets from cutting, sanding, bending, welding, and related operations to final inspection and packaging.

  4. Work with the quality and engineering departments to analyze rejections and improve trends.

  5. Implement and monitor to achieve the effectiveness and efficiency parameters of the production area.

  6. Implement corrective and preventive actions in the production department.

  7. Manage inventory of parts in process.

  8. Implement new production lines as needed in conjunction with other areas such as maintenance and engineering.

  9. Ensure that the management system complies with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.

  10. Provide justifications as necessary to initiate capital expenditure requests and requests for employee additions and replacements.

  11. Operate with a strong emphasis on safety and accident prevention. Conduct or attend all safety meetings.

  12. Conduct annual performance reviews with subordinate staff.

  13. Train subordinate employees on the Internal Work Regulations and internal rules of BII de México.

  14. Encourage employees to contribute creative and innovative solutions based on their experience.

  15. Monitor and ensure the proper maintenance of production plants and equipment. Support the development and implementation of an effective preventive maintenance program.

Experiencia y requisitos

10+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Metalworking, or similar. Extensive experience in personnel management. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and use knowledge to drive improvements.

Leadership.

Conflict management.

Teamwork.

Experience in internal/external audit certification.

Experience with various traditional metalworking machines, such as CNC turret and laser, shears, press brakes and punching machines, screw inserts, TIG/MIG and spot welding.

Fluent English / Bilingual.
