Uber Eats is seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our expanding team in Guadalajara. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in shaping the success of our restaurant partners across Mexico's west region, fostering high-impact relationships and driving business growth on the Uber Eats platform.

  • Own and manage a portfolio of Local Heroes SMB merchants, acting as the primary point of contact and strategic advisor for business growth on the platform.
  • Develop and execute account-level growth strategies to increase Gross Bookings, Trips, and merchant investment in Ads and Offers, while balancing profitability and contribution trade-offs.
  • Lead complex commercial conversations with business owners and senior stakeholders, influencing decisions around pricing, promotions, marketing investment, and operational improvements.
  • Analyze performance data to identify growth opportunities, diagnose underperformance, and prioritize actions across the portfolio based on impact and merchant potential.
  • Segment and prioritize accounts to effectively manage time and resources, focusing effort where it drives the highest incremental value.
  • Drive adoption and optimization of platform products and tools, translating data and insights into clear, actionable recommendations for merchants.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., Ops, Support, Marketing) to resolve issues, unblock growth, and deliver a strong merchant experience.
  • Own renewal, retention, and long-term relationship health for assigned accounts, ensuring sustainable growth and mutual value creation.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators, holding yourself accountable to targets and continuously iterating on strategy based on results.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a B2B client-facing role, such as Sales, Customer Success, Account Management, or upper management in the retail/food industry.
  • Experience navigating complex commercial conversations.
  • Data-based mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing a portfolio of SMB or mid-market clients with heterogeneous performance and priorities, including the ability to segment accounts and allocate time and effort accordingly.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth through upsell and cross-sell initiatives (e.g., ads, promotions, subscriptions, or value-added services).
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, with experience discussing margins, ROI, contribution, and investment trade-offs with clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate with business owners and senior decision-makers in ambiguous or high-stakes conversations.
  • Advanced analytical skills, with experience using data to identify growth opportunities, diagnose performance issues, and build actionable account strategies.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, target-driven environments with clear accountability for KPIs.
  • Familiarity with marketplace, platform, or on-demand business models (e.g., food delivery, e-commerce, SaaS, or similar ecosystems).
  • Ability to balance short-term commercial wins with long-term relationship health and retention.
