Descripción General

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprintsPerform preventative maintenance visits to help maintain a stable client baseClean various AV equipment including but not limited to: camera lenses, monitors and equipment fans.Field installation of control programs (AMX / Crestron/Firmware) – upload and download capabilityField service support of networked devices (Routers, IP Protocols, etc.)Perform service tasks in a timely and quality conscious manner including but not limited to: pulling cable, installing connectors, mounting projects and hanging ceiling mountsAssist next level service technicians as neededProvide training to clients and less senior technicians as neededAdhere to and understand OSHA standards for all phases of the jobSetup and troubleshoot various video codecs and UCC Devices.Travel to various job sites requiredPerform additional tasks, responsibilities, and projects as needed to support the team and organization, ensuring flexibility in adapting to evolving priorities and objectives.

Items to Consider:

AVI-SPL reserves the right to alter work hours and work location as necessary. Work hours may vary based on client requirements and may include travel to various locations in support of the account.This position will generally work on customer sites and may deal with a construction site type of work environment.

Effectively communicate with employees, customers and colleagues Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient mannerAbility to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlinesBasic computer knowledge Knowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video and control Ability to manage small to medium projectsAbility to solder & crimp connectors Valid Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving standards

Nice-To-Haves:

Minimum of 2 – 4 years of audiovisual integration experience preferredFormal education in Electronics or related field preferredMinimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Preferred external training: AMX Intro to Networking for AV ProfessionalsCrestron Professional InstallationExton AV Associate CertificationInfoComm Quick Start to the Audio-Visual IndustryInfoComm CTS General CertificationOSHA 30-Hour Construction Course
