Overview:

As a Patient Services Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients calling the clinic. Your role is essential in ensuring a smooth and supportive experience for every caller.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Call Handling: Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally. Address patient inquiries or concerns and transfer calls to the appropriate department when necessary.
  • Message Management: Accurately document and send messages to the clinic's medical staff regarding patients' needs or requests.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Schedule, modify, and cancel medical appointments using the client's internal system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • System Navigation: Operate within Epic EHR to manage patient information and appointment logistics.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with medical scheduling systems is a plus.
  • Customer service or call center experience preferred.

Expertise Required: Welcome and assist patients over the phone with scheduling medical appointments. Navigate scheduling systems to identify optimal appointment times based on patient needs. Collect and accurately record essential patient information while maintaining strict confidentiality. Follow established protocols to ensure proper scheduling across various medical services. Coordinate with healthcare providers to optimize scheduling efficiency. Document all patient interactions in accordance with standardized procedures. Maintain HIPAA compliance in all patient communications and data handling.

Compensation:

Competitive Salary in USD, you will be getting paid WEEKLY
