About the Job

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations within our Tecate manufacturing plant, ensuring efficient handling, storage, and distribution of raw materials, components, and finished goods. This role maintains accurate inventory control, enforces safety and quality standards under Mexican regulations (NOM-STPS), and leads the warehouse team to support production and on-time delivery to customers.

What You'll Do

Warehouse Operations

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, inspection, storage, material issuance, and shipping of finished goods.
• Ensure materials are delivered accurately and on time to production lines to prevent downtime.
• Optimize space utilization and maintain an organized warehouse layout following 5S principles.
• Oversee the control of packaging materials, spare parts, and consumables.

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in ERP/WMS systems.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories with Finance and Production.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between system and physical inventory.
• Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and coordinate replenishment with Purchasing.

Safety and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with NOM-STPS standards for safety, hygiene, and ergonomics.
• Lead monthly safety inspections and report potential risks.
• Guarantee proper use and maintenance of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other handling equipment.
• Enforce use of PPE and safety signage at all times.

Team Leadership

• Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse personnel including material handlers, forklift drivers, and clerks.
• Develop shift schedules and ensure adequate coverage for production and shipping.
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Logistics Coordination

• Coordinate inbound shipments from suppliers and outbound shipments to customers (domestic and export).
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with maquiladora customs requirements.
• Collaborate with Planning, Production, Quality, and Purchasing to maintain smooth material flow.

Continuous Improvement & Reporting

• Track KPIs such as inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, and warehouse productivity.
• Identify and implement lean initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• years of experience in warehouse or logistics management within the manufacturing or maquiladora industry.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, etc.).
• Proven experience managing raw material and finished goods warehouses.
• Familiarity with NOM-STPS standards and safety regulations.
• Bilingual (Spanish / English) – required for communication with corporate and export clients.
• Forklift operation knowledge and valid permit (preferred).

Schedule & Work Environment

• Hours: 7: a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday
• Overtime may be required during inventory counts or operational peaks
• On-site role at the Tecate, Baja California facility
