We are looking for a
BI Engineer Lea
d to drive the next generation of analytics and visualization platforms for the Americas region. This role will help define the analytics and BI strategy, build reusable and scalable analytical components, and ensure that data products enable high-impact business decisions across domains such as Commerce, Supply Chain, Marketing, Operations, and more
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the vision, roadmap, and architecture fo
    r Analytics & Business Intelligen
    ce on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring modularity, reusability, and alignment with business needs
  • Provide technical mentorship, code reviews, and best-practice guidance to BI engineers and analytics developers
  • Design and develop high-quality dashboards, reports, and semantic layers using Power BI (including DAX), Looker Studio, and/or Tableau
  • Define and standardize KPIs, metrics, and calculations using DAX and SQL, ensuring consistency and a single source of truth
  • Work closely with data engineering teams to ensure reliable, well-modeled datasets optimized for analytics consumption in BigQuery
  • Build reusable SQL and Python components to standardize transformations, metrics, and analytics logic
  • Optimize query performance, data models
    , DAX measur
    es, and dashboard responsiveness to improve user experience and cost efficiency
  • Continuously evaluate emerging analytics, visualization, and cloud technologies to evolve the BI stack and drive innovation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experie
    nce in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Engineering roles.
  • Proven hands-on experience wi
    th Google Cloud Platform (requir
    ed), especial
    ly BigQu
    ery and analytics-oriented services.
  • Strong experience developing dashboards
    in Power BI with advanced
    DAX; familiarity with Tableau and/or Looker Studio is a plus.
  • Solid understanding
    of Data Governance, Data Qual
    ity, and analytics best practices
  • Demonstrated experience optimizi
    ng performance and c
    ost across GCP workloads and BI too
  • ls.Advanced proficiency
    in
    SQL and working knowledge
    of Pyt
    hon for analytics and data transformations
  • Experience wi
    th ETL/ELT conce
    pts, data warehouse modeling, and analytical schemas
  • Strong communication skills, technical leadership capability, and ability to collaborate with business stakeholders
  • Familiarity wi
    th data visualization, KPI design, and storytell
    ing for executive and operational audiences.
  • Advanced English proficiency (C1) — required.
