Nexos TRC is looking for a Sr Buyer MRO for a World Class manufacturing company located in Torreon, Coahuila.

Academic Background: Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

Professional Experience:

· Minimum 5 years of experience in indirect procurement and industrial project management.

· Proven experience in categories such as MRO, Facilities, Construction, Machining, CAPEX, Human Resources Services, and Electronic Spare Parts.

· Experience in negotiation, contract management, and relationships with national and international suppliers.

Technical Skills:

· Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably Oracle).

· Proficiency in tools such as MS Project, Power BI, and advanced Excel.

· Advanced English (essential for interaction with global teams).

· Knowledge of quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies.

Main Functions and Responsibilities:

· Design and implement sourcing strategies for indirect categories, ensuring efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery.

· Manage capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects, including the acquisition of machinery, tools, and infrastructure.

· Coordinate plant expansion, construction, and equipment installation projects.

· Collaborate with internal departments such as Engineering, Operations, Human Resources, and Finance to align requirements and purchasing strategies.

· Negotiate contracts, evaluate supplier performance, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

· Analyze spending data to identify opportunities for savings, supplier consolidation, and reduction of total cost of ownership.

· Prepare executive reports and progress presentations for local and international stakeholders.
