What you'll be doing
- Teaching Math: You'll be leading exciting math classes for middle school students, making the subject come alive through engaging lessons and real-world applications.
- Class in English: You'll be delivering all lessons in English. So, if you can explain quadratic equations while making students chuckle, you're our kind of teacher
- Engaging with Students: You'll create a safe and supportive classroom environment where students feel motivated to participate, ask questions, and explore the wonderful world of mathematics.
- Fostering Growth: You'll track student progress, provide feedback, and adapt your teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners.
What we're looking for
- Experience: You should have at least 2 years of experience working with adolescents. This is where you get to shine
- Educational Qualifications: A degree in Mathematics or a related science is a must, along with a professional teaching certificate (cédula profesional).
- Teaching Skills: We need someone who has basic pedagogical skills and can deliver lessons in an engaging way. Think fun math activities and interactive discussions
- English Proficiency: You should be an expert in English, being able to teach and communicate effectively. Remember, math can be universal, but our classes will be in English
Schedule
Your working hours will be from
7:15 AM to 2:30 PM
, Monday through Friday, and on Thursdays, you'll wrap up at
4:00 PM
.
