We are looking for a Site HR Specialist to join the HR Team in the Electronics division, reporting directly to the HR Manager.
 

This position is based at our office in Tepotzotlan, Mexico.
 

As the Site HR Specialist at Marelli, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support to the plant location, ensuring effective implementation of HR policies, procedures, and processes in alignment with company objectives. This role serves as the primary contact for plant employees regarding HR-related matters, supports the site leadership team, and facilitates the creation of a positive, compliant, and productive work environment. 

• Employee Relations: Foster positive employee relations by addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts, and supporting employee engagement initiatives.
• HR Operations: Oversee daily HR tasks including onboarding, offboarding, time/attendance management, records maintenance, and HRIS updates.
• Recruitment & Staffing: Coordinate recruitment activities for the plant, screen applicants, support interview processes, and conduct new-hire orientations.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to labor laws and internal policies, maintain accurate documentation, and support internal/external audits.
• Performance & Development: Assist with performance appraisal cycles, monitor training needs, and coordinate learning and development programs.
• Health, Safety & Well-being: Liaise with EHS teams to promote a safe work environment and support employee wellbeing initiatives.
• Culture & Communications: Support site communication activities, events, and programs that foster a positive culture and drive engagement.
• Payroll & Benefits Support: Partner with central HR/Payroll teams to resolve payroll queries and manage benefit administration at the site level.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 2–4 years' experience in HR roles, preferably in manufacturing or electronics
• Strong knowledge of labor legislation and HR best practices
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
• Capacity to collaborate with diverse teams and influence at the local site
• High level of confidentiality and integrity
• Experience with HRIS systems and MS Office suite

• Analytical Abilities: Capable of analyzing HR data, employee trends, and metrics to support site management decisions.
• Conflict Resolution: Skilled in mediating disputes and handling sensitive employee relations issues with tact.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Attention to Detail: Thorough in documentation, compliance, and HR process execution.
• Adaptability: Able to adjust quickly to changes in policies, priorities, or workforce demands.
• Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying issues and providing practical HR solutions.
• Negotiation Skills: Able to facilitate beneficial outcomes between employees and site leadership.
• Cultural Awareness: Sensitive to diverse backgrounds; promotes inclusivity and equity in the workplace.
• Project Management: Experience in leading or contributing to HR-related projects and initiatives.
• Continuous Improvement: Advocates for process improvements and efficiencies in HR operations.
