About the Position:

We are looking for a Site HR Specialist to join the HR Team in the Electronics division, reporting directly to the HR Manager.
 

This position is based at our office in Tepotzotlan, Mexico.
 

As the Site HR Specialist at Marelli, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support to the plant location, ensuring effective implementation of HR policies, procedures, and processes in alignment with company objectives. This role serves as the primary contact for plant employees regarding HR-related matters, supports the site leadership team, and facilitates the creation of a positive, compliant, and productive work environment. 

Your Responsibilities will be:
  • Employee Relations: Foster positive employee relations by addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts, and supporting employee engagement initiatives.
  • HR Operations: Oversee daily HR tasks including onboarding, offboarding, time/attendance management, records maintenance, and HRIS updates.
  • Recruitment & Staffing: Coordinate recruitment activities for the plant, screen applicants, support interview processes, and conduct new-hire orientations.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to labor laws and internal policies, maintain accurate documentation, and support internal/external audits.
  • Performance & Development: Assist with performance appraisal cycles, monitor training needs, and coordinate learning and development programs.
  • Health, Safety & Well-being: Liaise with EHS teams to promote a safe work environment and support employee wellbeing initiatives.
  • Culture & Communications: Support site communication activities, events, and programs that foster a positive culture and drive engagement.
  • Payroll & Benefits Support: Partner with central HR/Payroll teams to resolve payroll queries and manage benefit administration at the site level.
What Qualifications you will bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2–4 years' experience in HR roles, preferably in manufacturing or electronics
  • Strong knowledge of labor legislation and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
  • Capacity to collaborate with diverse teams and influence at the local site
  • High level of confidentiality and integrity
  • Experience with HRIS systems and MS Office suite
