About the role:

Provide comprehensive support throughout the loan origination, processing, and closing process, ensuring regulatory compliance, document integrity, and effective customer service. The Back Office Assistant plays a key role in ensuring each application progresses efficiently and in accordance with internal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review all new loan files within 48 hours of receipt.
  • Verify that all required disclosures have been issued on time.
  • Identify missing documents or errors that may affect eligibility or regulatory compliance.
  • Organize and prepare loan files for submission to underwriting.
  • Maintain active communication with loan originators, brokers, underwriters, and other involved parties.
  • Resolve discrepancies, obtain missing documents, and facilitate continuous workflow progression.
  • Set up new loans, update statuses, and maintain proper file structure for audits and reviews.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, BA in related fields is a plus
  • Previous experience as a Back Office Assistant or Administrative Assistant.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organization, follow-through, and compliance focus.
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team

  • Competitive base salary ($20k - $22k gross)
  • Full law benefits (15 days of Christmas bonus if you have less than a year, 20 days of Christman bonus at year, 37.5% instead of 25% of vacation bonus)

  • Excellence bonus of $1,000 MXN tax free
