Job Title: Automotive Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Description (Short & Effective):

We are seeking an Automotive Cybersecurity Engineer to ensure the security and integrity of in-vehicle electronic systems and communication networks. This role involves protecting vehicle ECUs, network interfaces, and connected features by applying industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cybersecurity risk assessment and
    threat modeling
    for vehicle architectures, ECUs, and network communication.
  • Analyze and secure in-vehicle networks including
    CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Automotive Ethernet
    .
  • Develop cybersecurity requirements and technical controls aligned with
    ISO/SAE 21434
    and
    UNECE WP.29 R155/R156
    regulations.
  • Support secure design, penetration testing, and vulnerability analysis for vehicle systems.
  • Work closely with hardware, software, and systems teams to integrate cybersecurity into the development lifecycle (CSMS & SUMS).
  • Investigate security incidents, propose mitigations, and ensure compliance across product programs.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
  • Hands-on experience in threat modeling, risk assessment, and security analysis.
  • Knowledge of ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE WP.29, and cybersecurity processes.
  • Experience with penetration testing tools, fuzzing, and network monitoring preferred.
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical, Computer, Cybersecurity, or related field.
