Our challenge

We are seeking a
Security Analyst (Operations Support)
to join our Information Security team. This role will be critical in supporting day-to-day security operations as our environment continues to expand. With the recent transition of email gateway responsibilities from another IT group and a tripling of our infrastructure footprint, the operational workload and alert volume have significantly increased. The Security Analyst will play a key role in ensuring timely monitoring, response, and support across multiple security platforms.

The Role:
Security Analyst (Operations Support)

Responsibilities:

Email Security Monitoring

• Monitor and respond to email security alerts, ensuring timely resolution of threats and suspicious activity.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to fine-tune email gateway policies and improve detection accuracy.

Endpoint & SOC Alert Handling

• Investigate and respond to alerts generated by
  CrowdStrike
  and the
  Security Operations Center (SOC)
  .
• Escalate incidents as needed and provide detailed documentation of findings and remediation steps.

Access Control & Application Support

• Manage
  ThreatLocker elevation and installation requests
  to support users as local administrator access is removed across ~7,000 devices.
• Ensure requests are processed efficiently while maintaining strict security standards.

Operational Support

• Assist in maintaining and improving security monitoring processes.
• Provide input on automation opportunities to reduce manual workload and improve response times.
• Document procedures and contribute to knowledge base for consistent operational support.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in IT security operations or SOC environments.
• Familiarity with
  email security gateways
  and related monitoring tools.
• Experience with
  CrowdStrike
  or similar endpoint detection and response (EDR) platforms.
• Knowledge of
  ThreatLocker
  or comparable application control solutions.
• Understanding of incident response processes and security best practices.
